Social Skills Group

Small group therapy is available for social groups, play dates, and other natural environment training activities. It includes Music, Creative Play & Arts, Sports, Movement & other fun filled small groups activities.

ABA Therapy

ABA, Applied Behavior Analysis, is the underlying clinical methodology that guides all of our treatment programming. ABA Therapy involves selecting target behaviors and systematically implementing interventions that are carefully designed to increase or decrease those behaviors. Over time this results in the acquisition of many different skills and the reduction or elimination of various maladaptive behaviors.

Parent Training

The well being of our patient’s family is a vital part of overall success of our treatments; therefore, parent training is emphasized, and made a part of every treatment plan as well as a monthly parent group.

LEARN MORE ABOUT OUR SERVICES

Just like you, we see potential
Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) is a widely recognized developmental disability in the United States. At A Smiley Face, we understand the challenges in finding the necessary support for your child. Our primary objective is to equip families with children on the Autism Spectrum with highly qualified behavior professionals, aiding you and your family in adapting to caring for someone with ASD.

Our clinical team consists of Registered Behavioral Technicians (RBT), Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analysts (BCABA), and Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBA). We are committed to providing support wherever it’s needed. Over the past few years, our team has been visiting homes, schools, and classrooms of children with ASD, implementing Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) techniques to encourage positive social behaviors. ABA involves observing, defining, and analyzing behavior to develop treatment plans that foster positive social interactions in children facing social and behavioral challenges.

In addition to in-home and school support, we offer programs at our specialized Autism Treatment Centers. These centers host a range of activities including Social Skills Groups, Individual ABA sessions, Family Training, Sibling Support Groups, ASD Teen Groups, and more. Activities at these centers include music, arts, occasional pet interactions, Creative Play (integrating art, theater, music, and movement), yoga, read-aloud sessions, and others.

We accept most major insurances and strive to collaborate with families to ensure that children receive the essential services they need. Thank you for considering us, and we look forward to welcoming you to the family at A Smiley Face!

We understand that the environment must adapt to the needs of the child – A Smiley Face Treatment Center was built with your child in mind.

We will set goals for your child and in one-on-one therapy sessions, perform activities that will help us reach those goals. Under therapist supervision, your child has the opportunity to interact with other children of the same age. Through our social skills activities, your child will learn conversation techniques, how to make friends, how to interact with other children, and most importantly, how to have fun!

Social Skills Camp provides participants who have social difficulties with direct social skills instruction as well as immediate opportunities to practice the skills they have learned in real life settings.
