Applied Behavior Analysis
ABA is the application of behavior principles to everyday situations that will, over time, increase or decrease targeted behaviors. It has been used to help individuals acquire many different skills and decrease maladaptive behaviors.
ABA is the clinical methodology behind all of our treatment programming. We observe, define and analyze behavior to build a treatment plan that promotes positive social behaviors, and parent training is made a part of every plan.
Home and center-based services
Home Services
We provide services in the home environment, including assessing initial skills, behavioral assessment and program development.
After our staff begins the initial program and specific goals, we train parents, caregivers and parent-hired staff to work with your child at home. We meet with providers to monitor progress, review documentation and make adjustments as necessary.
Autism Treatment Center
Our Board Certified Behavior Analysts, behavioral specialists and special instructors take an empirical approach. Our center in Iselin was built with your child in mind.
We set goals and work toward them in one-on-one sessions. Under therapist supervision, your child also interacts with children the same age and learns conversation skills, how to make friends and, most importantly, how to have fun!
Building social skills together
Small groups give children and teens a safe place to practice new skills with peers.
ASD Teen Group
Led by trained professionals and supervised by Board Certified Behavior Analysts, our teen program focuses on verbal behavior to work on:
- Social skills
- Communication skills
- Building relationships
- Job readiness
Social Skills Camp
Direct social skills instruction with immediate opportunities to practice in real-life settings, helping campers generalize their social thinking skills across settings.
Our camp is specifically designed for kids with ASD, and we believe all kids benefit from the lessons taught.
Social Skills Groups
Small group therapy for social groups, play dates and other natural environment training activities, including music, arts, sports, movement, yoga, read-alouds and Creative Play, which combines art, theater, music and movement.
Parent Training
The well-being of your family is a vital part of your child’s success, so parent training is emphasized and made a part of every treatment plan, with a monthly parent group.
Speech & occupational therapy
Onsite at our Iselin center, for all ages. Currently available to our ABA clients.
Speech Therapy
Support with understanding and using language, speech clarity and social communication.
